Paul Corley is an award-winning American composer and producer who has been a member of the Icelandic music collective and record label Bedroom Community since 2007. The label’s intimate roster also includes Nico Muhly, Ben Frost, and Valgeir Sigurðsson.
In 2012, he released his debut solo album 'Disquiet' and composed his first score for the theatre: Hreinsun at the National Theatre of Iceland.
He became the Music Director for Sigur Rós live shows in 2016 and through the success of this collaboration, produced and mixed their eighth studio album Átta. In 2018, Corley, along with Jónsi and Alex Somers, created Sigur Rós’s ambient music arm, Liminal.
A constant collaborator, he has also produced multiple albums with Jónsi, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Tim Hecker, numerous stage works and scores with Ben Frost, and several projects with the late Jóhann Jóhansson.
In 2021, Corley’s score for the Riz Ahmed-starring ‘Mogul Mowgli' (dir. Bassam Tariq) won ‘Best Music' at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) as well as ‘Best Music’ at the Miami Film Festival.
